Terms and Conditions

As your celebrant, I agree to:

  • Advise you on all legal requirements to be married in Australia.

  • Attend the ceremony at the agreed date, time and place. I will arrive no later than 20 minutes prior to the ceremony commencement time.

  • Lodge all legal documents as required by law and within the specified time required.

  • Be available for consultation in the time up to the ceremony and to support and guide you in the design of the best bespoke ceremony possible for you.

  • Offer resources and ideas for your ceremony.

  • In the event of me not being able to attend your ceremony due to unforeseen circumstances I will pass the NOIM to a replacement celebrant as quickly as possible or arrange a refund under the terms of the refund policy.

  • Respect your right to be the first to share images and videos of our event on social media platforms.

  • Reserve the right to not proceed with the preparations and not to officiate at the ceremony if you fail to provide all required documentation.

  • Reserve the right to not proceed with the ceremony if any of the party including witnesses appear to be heavily intoxicated or under the influence of drugs at that time. Arrangements may be made to officiate at a later date. Additional charges will apply.

  • If in my opinion, a witness is not capable of being an official witness, then an alternative witness must provided.

As my client, you agree to:

  • Provide all original documentation as required by law to clearly establish place of birth and identity of both parties. You must acknowledge that any false statement or declaration may render you liable to penalties and prosecution which may include imprisonment.

  • Provide all material required for the ceremony no later than 3 weeks prior to the ceremony and you must approve the ceremony design and format no later than 7 days prior to the ceremony.

  • Arrive at the ceremony at the agreed time and should there be any delay. you will need to advise me. I may have another ceremony to attend.Should an additional date or time be necessary, an additional fee will be charged.

  • Pay the booking fee at the time of my lodging the NOIM. The booking fee is non-refundable. The balance must be paid no later than 4 weeks prior to the ceremony. Fees must be paid by direct deposit.

  • Advise me of any change of venue due to inclement weather at least 3 hours prior to the ceremony. I. reserve the right to charge additional fees should this incur an additional cost

  • Should you decide to cancel the ceremony you must advise me in writing as soon as practicable. I reserve the right to retain the booking fee and all other amounts paid.

  • Grant me permission to collect the information necessary for completion of all legal documents pertaining to the legalisation of your marriage according to the Marriage Act Australia.
